A hit tip to ThePostulant for this quiz. However, I don’t know if I think it’s terribly accurate as it found that ThePostulant was first Orthodox, second Calvin and third Catholic. The concept of ThePostulant as anything but Catholic boggles my mind.
Oh, and in other news, JK Rowling has acknowledged that she purposely made Christian parallels in the Harry Potter series. As if that surprises anyone who actually read the books…
She has also stated that Dumbledore is gay… I kid you not. (Hat tip: Gillian)

| You scored as Orthodox
You are Orthodox, worshiping the mystery of the Holy Trinity in the great liturgy whereby Jesus is present through the Spirit in a real yet mysterious way, a meal that is also a sacrifice.

I think it was my vigorous repudiation of transubstantiation that did it.
Christopher on 19 Oct 2007 at 6:27 pm: 2
That would do it. That and my repudiation of “spiritually” coupled with being averse to walking the sacrament about, got me as Luther.

I scored 100 % Orthodox and 81% Catholic and 13% Unitarian. I must be an Episcopalian

I tied between Luther and Orthodox…94% each ….which I think is pretty much a definition of an Anglo-Catholic
And for the latest breaking Potternews ….now Rowling has said that Dumbledore was gay. No joke.

Bet Albus was an Anglo-Catholic too. Graduated from the best boys’ school. Wore fabulous robes. Hung out in an old stone building lit by tons of candles. Liked chamber music. Inclusive and progressive values. Knew that blood was powerful, sacrifice is transformative and salvific. Threw big feasts and gave *very* short homilies during them (”Nitwit, oddment, blubber, tweak.” Not even 12 minutes!) And gay. Yup, definitely Anglo-Catholic. ONly counter-argument is that he apparently lacked a confessor, which his soul needed.

It was hard to answer some of the statements; didn’t agree or disagree so much as “huh?” or “WHAT?” or “no opinion.”

Well, sort of what I would have expected, although the high marks for both Calvin and Zwingli are surprising:
Catholic 88%
Orthodox 69%
Luther 50%
Calvin 38%
Zwingli 31%
Unitarian 0%
